Our Data Usage and Deletion Policy (Whoyer)

We believe in maintaining the minimum necessary data to provide the Whoyer service. Your privacy is secured under the following policy:

1. Data Collected and Automatic Deletion

Data Collected:

When you log in using Facebook, Whoyer only accesses and processes the minimum data required to create and manage your account. This typically includes your Facebook App-Scoped User ID (ASID) and email address.

Deletion Policy (Upon Logout):

In line with our design, once you sign out of Whoyer or your Facebook session expires, we do not retain your personal data. Any temporary identifiers or session data are immediately purged from our active systems.

Third-Party Deletion (Facebook App Removal):

When you remove the Whoyer app from your Facebook settings, our system receives an automatic signal from Facebook. Upon receiving this signal, we permanently delete all associated data (including your ASID and email) from our systems to ensure your data is completely removed.

2. How to Request Data Deletion (Recommended Method)

Since your policy is immediate data deletion upon removing the app, this is the most effective and fastest way to ensure your data is removed. Follow these simple steps from your Facebook account to request the deletion of all data associated with the Whoyer app:

  1. Go to your Facebook "Settings & Privacy."
  2. Click on "Settings."
  3. In the left-hand menu, click "Apps and Websites" (or "Business Integrations").
  4. Find the Whoyer app in the list and click the "Remove" button next to it.
  5. When prompted, confirm your choice to remove the app.

3. Direct Deletion Request

If you are unable to use the Facebook method or have any concerns, you may submit a direct deletion request.

Email:

Please send your request to: hello@whoyer.com

Required Information:

Include the email address associated with your Facebook account used to sign up for Whoyer.

We will process all direct deletion requests and confirm the removal of your data within 7 business days.
